Michele is a Black woman who grew up in the Midwest and believes in using her voice for good. She is an expert in program development and implementation with over twenty-five years of experience providing services to vulnerable populations including: persons with disabilities, individuals and families experiencing homelessness, low-income communities and populations affected by natural and public health disasters, and refugee resettlement.

EQUITY IN ACTION
Equity in Action is a joint venture of Michele Williams and Darlene Matthews intentionally serving at the community-level to bring homeless service organizational awareness to the impacts of racial inequity on service implementation. EIA incorporates the perspectives of the historically marginalized to bring evidence-based approaches to transform systems and improve quality of life for communities across America.
Community Equity Services
Community Equity Services (CES) is a joint venture of Michele Williams, working at the intersection of housing policy and racial equity. CES principals combines decades of experience in working in nonprofits, government and as community organizers to support communities in the analysis and development of housing policies and programs that lead to equitable housing solutions for all.
Critical Technical Assistance Unit
The Critical Technical Assistance Unit (C-tau) is a team focused on supporting housing crisis systems throughout the United States. Over the past 20 years, C-Tau's principles have developed insights and expertise executing rapid systems change. The team is comprised of mission-driven professionals with decades of experience operating steady-state human services and housing program portfolios at the national, state, and local levels.
